I will be holding another Environmental constellation group on a weekend date in August - more details will be published after 20 July.
Also from this September onwards there will be an environmental constellation group meeting one Sunday a month at a range of locations across Lewes District. If you have an idea of a wonderful space to hold a group - do please let me know. We held a group on Lewes Railway land last summer and the work unfolded magically.
The dates for environmental constellation groups will be:
Sunday 3 September
Sunday 1 October
Sunday 5 November TBC
Sunday 3 December
Sunday 7 January
Sunday 4 February
Sunday 4 March
Sunday 8 April
Sunday 13 May
Sunday 3 June
Sunday 5 July
I have been working as a constellation facilitator for 5 years and this workshop is the culmination of my life experience in the environmental movement, political experience, metaphysical trainings as well as constellations.
This video: "How wolves change rivers" speaks to me. It demonstrate the importance of our deep connections -and for me, constellations help us experience our connectedness in ways that we don't notice in day to day life. It also shows what happens in nature when we bring back in an element that has been excluded, which again, is what constellation work is all about.
We all see what is going on around us, floods, climate change, road building, litter, plastics in the ocean, toxins in our environment, bees.. And many of us may recycle our bottles, try to buy ethical products, try to vote the right way and sign a few petitions. We may even go on marches, protest in trees even get arrested or invest in solar panels. But ultimately most of us feel a little powerless to do much about what we see going on.
A recent environmental constellation showed a participant how despite her smallness in relation to all of this her actions and her very being mattered. It was a deeply moving experience for all involved.
Why come?
This is a workshop where we don’t come in “knowing the answers”
This is a workshop where we come in with questions and concerns about things that are going on and we are open to new ways of looking at things
This is open to all. No previous experience of constellations is required, nor any expertise about environmental matters.
What you bring is yourself and willingness to trust the process.
This is a workshop where the experience and wisdom of each participant has a place and is valued.
All ages welcome - and needed. though the workshop is not suitable for children who may find it boring
What this is not:
This is not a discussion group
This is not a “political” event, by which I mean, this is not an event where we take sides and debate
This is not an arena where there are experts or winners or losers
If you have images of nature, or our environment, or pieces of nature, or something you would like to return to the land, t, do please bring them along.
This is an ongoing experimental workshop and I will be really interested in your feedback.
Booking information will be uploaded at the end of July
